Vertical 3 Phase disconnect

I am running ACADE 2005 and if I place a vertical 3 phase fused disconnect I get a quantity of 3. If I place the same disconnect horizontally I get a quantity of 1 (which is what I want) Why? and how do I correct this?

Thanks
Marty

Check the vertical vs horizontal versions of the child symbols (open each
child library symbol's ".dwg" file). Probably inconsistent... there are
probably CAT/MFG attributes on one and not the other. If you don't want the
child symbols to trigger entries in the BOM reports, remove these attributes
from the library symbols or, after insertion, make sure that the CAT
attribute on the child fuse symbols is blanked out.

Nate, I encountered having the MFG & CAT attributes on the VDS21F (child) symbol as well. This is a canned symbol that came with ACE. Has this been corrected? It was easy to modify the library symbol, but a new user who does not use the discussion group would not have known this.

This same problem still exists in ACE 2016. Finding this post helped me fix it but the blocks should get updated. I was wondering why I was getting triple the amount of items in my BOM. RATING1 and RATING2 are in the horizontal as well. While the vertical just has RATING1. Easy to fix but I was unsure of what I was doing wrong until today.
