More than likely this terminal exists in your schematic. So you have to remove it there.

The question is, where is located?

Go to the Reports TAB and in the Schematic group select Reports.

Under Report Name select Terminal Numbers, Location and Installation Codes = Blank.

Run the report for the entire project.

When the report appears you may have to modify it to show the sheet/line reference.

If so, click Change Report Format and select ref in the Available fields column.

The report will show where in the project the blank terminal is located.

Regards,

David Brude

Try experimenting with some of the other fields in the modify report dialog. There is a field for drawing index. It may be named something else.

Hi.

Using the Terminal Strip Editor, use the reassign button on the terminal that is missing, and reassign it to something bogus, like "-X12345".

Then run the surfer command, press enter to type the tag, and write "-X12345" in the Component Tag textbox. Now, you can use the surfer to go directly to where the terminal is supposed to be.

That is a good tip. I use surfer so much by picking I forgot you can enter a tag.

This tip solved all my problems  !  (i had quite a few hidden / invisible terminals creating unstability)

the surfer somehow exposed these terminals which i did not know existed
