One thing - in your .wdt file you don't want block={template name}, you want
block={block name}. Where block name is the name of the block that is
inserted on your template drawing. You can have any number of blocks
inserted on the template drawing so you need to tell AcadE which block is
the one that is the title block and should have its attributes updated.
You can try zipping the files, the .dwt and the .wdt and posting or if you
want you can send them directly to me at pat.murnen@autodesk.com.

I tried to post my template, and it told me that file type is not allowed.
It is a .dwt. I am sorry, but I am new to this version and have a steep
learning curve. I have tried all versions of the .wdt, and when I open it
in notepad I can see the block= with my template name there.
thanks for your help.
