Tag/wire number sort order drop-down list

what is the use of Tag/wire number sort order drop-down list in the Project Settings tab of the Project Properties dialog box.

Also, what is the use of Sort order drop down list (Tag/wire number Order area) in the Drawing Format tab of the Project Properties dialog box.

Can anybody explain me?

Both settings perform the same function. The project one is applied to new dwgs in a project while the dwg one only affects the dwg it is changed on.

It's function is to control how wires are numbered when using the auto wire number tool.

No override means the project settings are in control.

Left to right moving down numbers wires starting at the first wire on the left, at the top of of the dwg and moves to the right before moving down.

The rest of the selections are similar with just the directions changed.
