I am looking for a symbol library "list"
I was able to find one on-line for Autocad Electrical 2005
(38 pages with desc, icons and "block names")
but am concerned that there are additions or subtractions
from this list and if we are "building" our project from an excel spreadsheet
to be used with Autocad Electrical I would think that we need the latest greatest
names of blocks etc...
That list looks like someone simply screen grabed images from the icon menu in 2005. Sounds like a fun little project to add to my to do list.
You can find the updated list in the product Help. Depending on what version of AutoCAD Electrical you are using it will be in a different place in the Table of Contents. In 2014 and earlier look under User's Guide -> Symbol Preview Guide. In 2015 look under Symbol Libraries, then look for a specific library's Symbol Preview, i.e. IEC-60617 Symbol Preview, IEEE Symbol Preview, etc.
Hope this helps,

If you mean a "list" of the symbols, dwg etc and where they are located, I have such a list in EXCEL spreadsheet form.
It lists the file name, directory and also a hyperlink to the file.
While I have not completed formating the list it contains evry symbol, lisp etc.
It's really been handy for me.
It's a monster file but well worth the time its taking.
If anyone wants it, just pop me an email.
