SS to PLC output addressing problem

I am not an AutoCAD Electrical 2008 user, but the user is trying to use the Spreadsheet to PLC generator utility.

All his output modules are ending up with a "-" (hyphen without quotes) as the each of the output's addresses... the inputs work fine. He is using a 5 digit number for the module's address (e.g. 00001 is the first output's address) and 10001 is the first input.

Anything I can have him check or do (we did look through his spreadsheet and it appears to be formatted correctly.

Thanks in advance.

Can you send me a copy of the spreadsheet? I don't have a good idea of what
would be causing this. My direct email is pat.murnen@autodesk.com

Pat,

Thank you for the offer, but I had the end user log this problem with his reseller's technical support personnel. They assigned a case #: 299-14445: spreadsheet - PLC utility address number.

They were able to get the I/O addressing scheme to work from a generic spreadsheet, but not from the end users original spreadsheet. They never stated what the actual problem was with his original spreadsheet.

If you can't find out any specifics (or that case number is the reseller's internal number, not Autodesk's) then let me know and I will have the end user contact and send the working and non-working spreadsheets directly to you.

Thanks again.

Tracy,

I don't have access to this by case id. So if you want to have the end user
contact me directly with the details and files, my email is
pat.murnen@autodesk.com.

Thanks,
Pat
