Use the grid on/ off (F7), snap on/off (F9) and set grid limits.

Setup the grid and snap in tools-- drafting settings-- snap & grid. Also you can set
Your O-snap on column 3 -- object snap.
I usually set the grid at .5" and the snap at .5,.125, .0625 or .03125 if using inches:
.5, .2, .1 etc.. If using 10ths.

Then type in limits on the command line, enter, expand the drawing to or past the size of
The drawing space you are using, click lower left then upper right, enter and the limits of the grid are set.
I use it on everything schematics, layouts, interconnects tables, etc.. To get even
Spacing.
Hopefully this will help.
Good luck,
Tim

Is there a way to space equally? For example, spacing a column of terminals equally.
