Solenoids

Hello all,

I have seen a post here:

in which the attached picture from brianafischer shows a double acting valve with its coils referenced back to the solenoid valves.

Could someone please tell me how to achieve this. I have looked at the advanced productivity on peer-to-peer connectivity but using this I can only add one coil to one solenoid, how do you add both?

The attached file explains what I have managed to get so far. Both of the solenoids reference the coil but the coil only references one solenoid - not what the image that brianafischer posted shows.

Any help is appreciated.

Not sure if i've interpreted your question correctly, but the image that you have attached shows a single acting valve only (it is spring return, so will only have a single solenoid reference anyway)...

The image in the post you refer to is a double acting valve and so has 2 independant solenoid coils?

Yes you're correct. It should have been a double acting solenoid and not a single - that is my mistake!!

What I am after is getting the solenoids tags to look like the image that brianafischer posted here: http://discussion.autodesk.com/adskcsp/thread.jspa?messageID=5137024

The revised picture of what I am able to do is attached.
