Software for the empowerment of the report generator

AutoCAD Electrical report generator tool is not enough to create reports based on customer requirements. What software should be used for the empowerment of the report generator ACE?

I've been thinking the same thing.  Considering writing a routine that copies the scratch database to another file (after updating it) and then using saved queries and reports in another Access database file to get the reports I want in the format I need them in.

Did you ever come up with a solution?
