Sheet Value

Why isn't the Sheet value stored in the .wdp file when almost all other sheet properties are?

If it is, please let me know where.

Thanks!

The sheet value is stored in the hidden WD_M block within each drawing. The only drawing-specific data that is stored in the project definition file (.WDP) is the drawing file name, the virtual folder assignment, the section and sub-section values, and the drawing description as used in the given project. What does this drawing do for this project? This is defined at project level. What is the sheet number? This is assigned at drawing level. I've seen numerous companies where the sheet assignment is based upon the drawing content. For example, certain sheet numbers are for certain circuit diagram pages, while other sheet numbers are for certain layout pages, BOM pages, etc. Sheet 1 might always be power distribution; and there might be one for each voltage configuration possible.
