Schematic report display "By Tag"

Looking for some help with BOM Schematic reports.

Schematic report display in "By Tag" format.

I would like to delete the assembly rows and add the tags to the subassembly parts.
Right now we are stripping out them out manually which is fine for
small projects the large projects take too much time.

We use "A" size drawings need to save drawing space and "Save to File"
is sent to keypunch to be entered in our main computer only our 9 million numbers
are accepted.

Would a user post handle this and if so could someone
get me started in the right direction I have no Autolisp
training.

Thanks for any help.

You could do a "user post" but if you are exporting to excel anyway, you could load a macro into the spreadsheet to populate the empty cells with the tags above the empty cells and delete that initial row(s) when done. You could set it up to process only the rows selected. If your'e not into lisp, maybe VBA in Excel would work better for you. I'd investigate this approach but maybe posting this in the Visual Lisp DG will get you a response using lisp. Good Luck.

For some reason the tags show up in the Excel sheet
but not the drawing report I was hoping to get a "User Post" to accomplish this.

Our company is replacing the AS400 with a new MRP system and the hope is to push a BOM into it so there is a need to clean up the report as much as possible.

Not enough time to learn lisp thats why I am asking for help.

Thanks
