Project Database Services

When opening a project, the following message appears:

"Unable to communicate with Project Database Service."

The Error Message details shows:

Row #:    0 Source: "Microsoft JET Database Engine"
Description: "'C:\Users\AnnaK\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD Electrical 2013\R19.0\enu\Support\user\5360-00 SCHUKRA COMPACT LUMBER LASER WELD.mdb' is not a valid path.  Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides."
Help File: "(null)" Help Context: 5003044
GUID: {0C733A7A-2A1C-11CE-ADE5-00AA0044773D}
SQLState: 3044, NativeError: -534774783

-----------
Unable to create Access database file 'C:\Users\AnnaK\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD Electrical 2013\R19.0\enu\Support\user\5360-00 SCHUKRA COMPACT LUMBER LASER WELD.mdb'
-----------

How can this be resolved? It is preventing me from properly navigating projects and editting components.

Will it work with other projects?  Our project name is extremely long.  That might pose a problem.  Most project names are something like a job number or a document number. I've seen names like a machine name or ride name, but never as long as your project name.

It doesn't work with any projects I have. I have never seen this issue in the past but am working on a different computer than usual. I have tried other solutions posted in the AutoCAD Electrical forum and still cannot resolve the issue.

Have you tried a repair install?

Maybe you have tried this as I think this has been posted before but the below step have been know to correct the issue.  These steps are for Windows 7, in other OS's the files might be in different locations:

1) Exit AutoCAD Electrical

2) From the Start menu, in the 'Search programs and files' edit box enter:
          regsvr32 c:\windows\sysWOW64\MSJET40.DLL

You should receive a Succeeded message

3) From the Start menu, in the 'Search programs and files' edit box enter:
         regsvr32 c:\windows\sysWOW64\MSJETOLEDB40.DLL

You should receive a Succeeded message

When I have had to do an uninstall and a reinstall I always clean my registry in between the uninstall and reinstall. Sometimes this cleans out the leftovers that are causing problems. Not always, but it has fixed the problem for me a couple of times.
