Project Database Service Error

Can anyone tell me what this error means and if it will affect anything?

File 'F:\VAULT WORKING FOLDER\STANDARDS\CONVEYOR SYSTEMS 86XXX\86022\WO#LG900.DWG' has been renamed and is no longer being monitored.

This error occurs in the project database service.

Thanks.

While creating my training materials I will often work on temporary drawings that I later delete or rename. If I've forgotten to remove them from the project under Project Manager I get the same message. They are still in the wdp file but since I changed or deleted them using windows explorer AutoCAD can't find them anymore.

So this error will not affect anything and should be ignored?

Thanks.

It hasn't effected me. As I said, from my experience it's only been when I've removed or renamed files not using Project Manager. The wdp file still holds the old information and if you change it anywhere but within Project Manager AutoCAD has no way to know.

I've not lost any drawings or data even when I've seen this message.

According to the project file list, the file should be one of the files that
the Project Database Service (PDS) is to monitor and look for changes. It
would then use the data in the drawing and update the scratch database. The
message means that the file could not be found and is therefore being
ignored.

If the file is relevant to your project, then you should make sure it is
available. If it is not important, you may want to consider removing it from
the WPD file (Project ) to avoid unnecessary processing, as PDS is pretty
persistent in trying to locate the file and will continue to check every now
and then to see if it has suddenly returned (such as a temporary network
interruption).
