problems with ACADE 2009 install

we are installing acade 09 finally, and i'm having some issues with the shortcut we had created during the deployment creation. we set up this alternate profile with centrally located paths for templates, etc. (as we did for acade 07). this time however, when i open the shortcut that the normal deployment created, it opens up fine (and i can modify the paths afterwards), but when i click on the additional shortcut i created, which points to the alternate profile, it doesn't load WD_ARX_FORMAT_PATH for some reason. i thought if i tried matching the support paths between the alternate profile and the standard ACADE profile, that it would clear this up, but it hasn't. here is the command line from the startup when ran from each shortcut (the good, ACADE profile shortcut, and the bad alternate profile shortcut)
...any thoughts would be greatly appreciated...

iomaxx,

I looked over the messages and I noticed that in the bad alternate profile,
you are missing these two messages:

Loading Electrical modules...
Loader application completed.

What this might mean is that the loader module (the .Net module that loads
the rest of the Electrical specific modules) is not being loaded. I don't
recall for sure, but I think there was a change between 2007 and 2009 such
that a .Net module is being used as the loader instead of an ARX module. I
think it is the aceloader.dll module now. Anyway, this module is loaded
through a registry entry. I have 2010 installed and I see it on my computer
under
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R18.0\ACAD-8007:409\Applications\Acade"
since you are using 2009, yours will be slightly different. Check to make
sure that this module is getting loaded. Hope this helps.

Regards,
Mike

thanks, after looking at things, i had my support paths setup the same as in 2007, and i didn't have the C:\program files\autodesk\acade_2009\acade as a folder listed in the support paths in the options menu. since it was looking for that aceloader.dll file (which the registry listed as being in this program files folder), it must not have been loading everything correctly.

thanks again
