Problem with component insert

I have set up some standard circuits in the icon menu and it has previously been working without any issues. From about a week ago whenever I have tried to insert one of my circuits it scales up by about 25. All the standard components insert at the correct scale without any issues.
If I copy my circuit and paste it into the desired drawing there is no scaling issue. It seems to be behaving quite strangely. Anyone have an idea what is happening?

Sounds like a setting to convert from inches to milimeters has been turned on. I know I have seen that, but can't remember where it was. But, hope this helps point you in the right direction.

yeah, i thought that might have been the case, however i have tried changing the scale of both the cicuit drawing and project/drawing i want to insert the circuit into. it doesn't appear to matter what combination of scales i chose, i get the same results...

Ok, I tried creating a new project and copying the settings from my circuits, but it still does the same. (I added my circuits into a project and did a settings compare to copy drawing settings to project, then used this project to copy settings from when i created the new project). I am perplexed

Does this happen when you try and insert the
circuit on to a blank new drawing? If so, if you send the project file,
one drawing, and one circuit to me at

take a look and see if I can tell what is happening

Pat I have seen a similar situation if a metric
drawing is inserted into the acad.dwt template and the acad.dwt template is set
to inches units.  When I am working with IEC customers I have to be sure
they have everything set for metric units with no mixing of the two.  For
example creating a border drawing with attributes in millimeters.  Then
start a blank drawing with acad.dwt.  Insert the border drawing to prepare
it as an Acad/E template (i.e. insert the WD_M block and add wire layers,
etc.).  Check the units format of the new blank drawing before inserting
the metric sized border.  If it is set to inches the border geometry
will scale to inches.  It becomes evident when you start inserting symbols
from the IEC or AS libraries.  All symbols are 25.4 times too big.  I
ran into this while teaching in Australia and helping them create their smart
border template.  Again, I'm not sure if that is what is happening here,
but it's just a thought.

Doug, Thanks for the input. That is what I assumed the problem to be as I am in Australia and am using the AS library, however the AS components insert into my drawings at the correct scale and it is only my circuits that seem to be enlarged. I have tried varying the scales of the drawing, project and circuit, but the problem remains.

Pat, It inserts into a blank drawing at the large size, however the text sizes don't scale like when inserted into my project. I am sending a circuit and one of my temp projects I used to test my scaling problems. The drawing in the project has the circuit already inserted from the insert component menu, and you should find that by copying and pasting the circuit there is no scaling issue.

Thank you both for your help,
Mark

Per our emails - Changing the Units on the saved
circuit to the correct value (not Inches) solved this issue.

Thanks,

Just as clarification, I had tried changing the scale in the drawing properties, not the units used for the drawing. the scale value I was changing didn't fix the problem, changing the units to unitless did the trick
