Problem, please help!

Hi,

When I insert a component I get the installation, location and catalog data info show up on the left side of the window as shown in the attached picture.  Also when i place the component there is a "-" in front of the tag eg -SF??101.

This behavior has only just started happening and only in my template project but not in other projects I have.

Can anyone tell me what I might have changed to cause this?

Open the project, right click on the project name in the manager and then go to properties.

Second tab at the top is called components. Go to this tab and look for the Component TAG Options .

Make sure the following check boxes have a tick in them.

Combined Installation/Location Tag Mode

Suppress dash when first character of tag

You will probably find that the Suppress dash and the Format Inst/Loc into Tags are checked when they shouldn't be.
