Possible Bom Bug? Or User Error

Example Drawing Attached. - Using AutoCAD Electrical 2016

2 identical MCCBS ( HND400H) , the only difference is that one contains a Sub assembly.

Running a BOM Report,

Normal Tallied Format correctly reports 2 x HND400H

Tallied Purchase Format ( The one i really need ) only reports 1 x HND400H

Am i going crazy and missing something simple or is this a legitimate bug?

Hi Stuart,

Thank you for reporting this issue.

I could see that you are using the Assembly code for one of the 'HND400H' (located in the left side of the drawing) as '400A SPD'.

Are you using the the Assembly code to define the sub-assemblies as well?

Thanks,

Yuvaraj J

Hi Stuart,

We have logged this issue  in our tracking system.

As a workaround, you can create an additional copy of the catalog for the assembly as below and generate the report.

While the workaround does work it is not ideal, we have many assemblies affected by this bug. The workaround then needs a manual update to the BOM before we upload to our SAP system.

It is very dissapointing that the core functionality of your product does not work as advertised and we have to resort to manual updates and workarounds.

Please can provide an esitmate on when functionality will be restored.
