Point-to-point should not be a problem. You can set
up your drawing without "ladders" - you just set up either 1) X-Y grid reference
system, 2) X-zone referencing system, or 3) line reference number column along
the left side of the drawing without the ladder. Then you just start popping in
your custom, AcadE-smart avionic symbols and connectors (that you'll need
to convert over one time) and use the "spool of wire" tool to interconnect. From
dealings with other aviation industry folks, I suspect that you have a
special wire numbering system that includes system and gauge and color formated
into the tag. You can use the EDIT WNUM tool to manually assign these wire
numbers and then, when all is in place, you should be able to extract various
interconnection reports, BOM's and such.
