PLOTTING AUTOCAD VERSION

Is their a way to plot whioh version of autocad you are using on your drawings. (Ex: autocad 2004, Autocad 2012)

I would like to add it to my .wdt file.

I've tried this lisp expression on AcadE 2010 and 2012, Seems to work.

 

(cadr (assoc (substr (getvar "ACADVER") 1 4) '(("17.0" "AutoCAD 2007")("17.1" "AutoCAD 2008")("17.2" "AutoCAD 2009")("18.0" "AutoCAD 2010")("18.1" "AutoCAD 2011")("18.2" "AutoCAD 2012"))))

 

Type ACADVER at the AutoCAD Command line to see what version you are running. I'm just comparing the first 4 characters of this value to get waht we need.

 

Just add more versions as they arrive.
