Pin list for a new control relay

Hi,

Please help me on the below case.

How we add the pin list values permanently to a newly added component catalog information (new make control relay). When inserting the same component with catalog details previously used on the next sheet the pinlist values are blank.

regards,

Rajesh

In the default_cat.mdb file, there are several tables for each of the manufacturer's in teh database. The tables are named "_pinlist_Manufacturer's Name".

Within each table is listed all the parts with pinlists.

Use the Pin List Database Editor.

1. Select the manufacturer name.

2. Click to add a new record.

3. Enter part number.

4. Enter coil pin (terminal) numbers comma delimited with no space.  (i.e. K1,K2)

5. Enter the contact pins with the proper syntax.  (i.e. 1,A1X,A1Y;1,A4X,A4Y where 1=NO, and A1X,A1Y=contacts)

Hint: Separate multiple contacts with semicolon.

Note: Click Help at lower right of dialog to get the complete list for different types of contacts.

1=NO

2=NC

3=SPDT (a.k.a. Changeover, Form-C)

In the admin class I teach, we cover this topic and we even add pin assignments for 3-phase switch disconnects and circuit breakers.

Hello, The pinlist of a connector could be filled in automatically according to the pinlist database?. I mean for a parametric connector and not a relay. Thank you very much.
