Hello, I am having a problem where when I place a symbol and select the catalog the pin list disappears from the part. About half of my company is also. Were running AutoCAD Electrical 2010. The pin list are stored on the symbol itself and the catalog is stored In the default catalogs We can't figure out why when place the part to a schematic the pin list appears only until you place the part. Half of the company ca place the part fine. Its not a project related problem because we opened other projects that it worked in. Therefore it has to be computer based issue. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Jared Lytle

Please download and install the AutoCAD Electrical 2010 service pack 1 from http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=13777929&linkID=9240738
What is probably happening is that the catalog you are selecting does not have a pinlist defined and so these blank values are being "assigned", removing any existing pin values. This has been corrected with the service pack. If the catalog value does not have a pinlist defined the existing pin values on the component are left as is. You can also view the readme to see what other issues are addressed in the service pack before installing.
