Peer tot Peer link possible with Terminals?

Hi all,

It is possible to link components (electric-hydraulic) so if one tag is changed the other linked compnenttag changes also. Does anybody knows a way to do the same with terminals and coils (relay)?

Using AutoCAD Electrical 2012.

Do I have to make new blocks with other family code or something like that?

Thanks,

John van Eeten

It sounds like you may be dealing with protection relays, but I'm just guessing.  Managing a peer relationship between relay symbols is possible by using the WDTYPE attribute.  See the help menu for more details.  You will need to add this attribute to symbols that do not already contain it.  WDTYPE was added to support one-line diagram functionality, but other uses are possible.  The attribute value that signifies a one-line symbol is 1-, but you can use custom values, as long as you do not exceed 4 characters for the WDTYPE attribute value.  See the attached screen capture which explains how to manage a peer/duplicate relay coil.

Hi,

With the relay coil this works, but not with terminals.

Do you know if this is possible?

Best Regards,

John
