OK - Repeat in panel layout

I'm trying to use 'Copy Component' in panel layout. Once I have copied one component, I click on 'OK - Repeat'.

Unfortunately, the command does not continue on.  I suspect its a bug.

Are you using the Copy Footprint option from the Panel tab the OK+ Repeat works as expected. Is this the one you are using or are you using the Copy Component from the Schematic tab? That one does not repeat when copying a panel footprint. I will log that as an issue.

Yes, I am using Copy Footprint.

I also noticed another OK - repeat error a while ago...

When using Cables/Cable Marker, once the parent marker is added, you get the option to insert child components.  At this point there is the option to 'OK - repeat' and 'OK'.  OK - repeat works fine here, however 'OK' operates exactly like 'OK - repeat'.  You have to press escape to cancel the command.  Its no big deal, but thought I'd mention it.

I have logged the issue when using Copy Component from the Schematic tab on a footprint the OK+Repeat does not repeat. I also found and logged that if you pick Copy Footprint from the right-click context menu it the OK+Repeat button does not repeat. So for now I would recommend using Copy Footprint from the ribbon if you want to use the OK+Repeat.

Regarding the child cables, yes I believe you are already in a loop when inserting child cables in the workflow you describe so the OK just exits the dialog but does not exit the original loop of inserting children. If you are inserting the child cable markers directly by picking from the icon menu then the OK and OK+Repeat work as expected. This has been logged.
