Object Enablers

We have seats of Electrical and Mechanical AutoCAD and drawings may be opened in either due to plotting and such.
Why do I keep getting errors that AutoCAD cannot fine the enablers even thought the check for object enablers is activated.

Errors listed below:
Command:
Command: AutoCAD AutoCAD AutoCAD AutoCAD AutoCAD Checking for object enablers
on the Autodesk website
AutoCAD has not found an object enabler on the Autodesk website for AcadM
AutoCAD has not found an object enabler on the Autodesk website for AcMeServices
AutoCAD has not found an object enabler on the Autodesk website for AcMeServices
AutoCAD has not found an object enabler on the Autodesk website for AcMeServices

Thanks
Chad

Hi Chad,

You are getting the command line messages below because AutoCAD Electrical
is encountering special objects created by AutoCAD Mechanical that it
doesn't understand how to deal with. If you have the "Check Web for Live
Enablers" option checked, AutoCAD Electrical will go out and try to find one
but for these particular types of objects it is encountering, no object
enabler exists.

You can eliminate the messages by unchecking this option under the
Tools-->Options-->System tab.

Let me know if that answers your question or if I'm missing the point.

Thanks,
Scott

Scott,
Thanks for the info, but even with the "check for enablers turned off" I still get the errors about proxy graphics.

Any other ideas?

Hi Chad,

You should get a proxy message any time AutoCAD Electrical encounters a
special object from AutoCAD Mechanical. The message is more of a question
asking you how you would like the proxy to be displayed than it is a warning
or error.

If you would like to suppress this question, you can change the
"Proxynotice" variable to "0". Just type "proxynotice" at the command line
and set it to "0".

Give that a try and see if it gives you the desired results.

Thanks,
Scott

Scott,
That works great until I reload ACAD.
Then its back.
How do i get it to stay off permanently

Chad,

It should remain persistent if you uncheck it on the "Open and Save" tab of
the options dialog. It's in the lower right hand section of that dialog.
