Need to have wire number pass through plug to jack on seperate drawings

Hi all,

I am looking to have the wire number go through a plug/jack combo but they need to be on seperate drawings (i.e., plug is on 1.dwg and jack is on 2.dwg). Anyone try this before or have suggestions? I am trying to not re-invent the wheel if someone else came up with a solution.

Thanks,

You can always cheat (See attached project) (Thaw the "HIDDENWIRE"-layer to see the "secret")..

Or.. if you don't need to see the plugs/jacks in the BOM, create Source/Destination signals that looks like Plugs/Jacks.

THL,

I was thinking of doing it that way but just was wondering if anyone thought of another way...
