I was sent a .dwg file from our German facility---it was a terminal strip created in Weidmuller's Rail Designer 5 software.
When I try to open the file, I get a error message:
"The NLS files required to convert the text entities and symbol table names in your drawings from code page undefined to ANSI_1252 cannot be found or are not installed on your system.
To install the missing NLS files, double click the Regional Settings icon in the Windows Control Panel."
Ok, my first thought was that since this was done on a computer localized to German, my machine was missing some of the funky characters---so I installed German as an alternate language. No dice.
The error message gives no indication of which NLS file is missing; and a search of Microsoft just comes back with a general explanation of what they are.
Any suggestions?
