Missing Module Builder Utility

Where has the Module Builder Utility gone? Is there any Wizard type fill in the blanks utilities provided to construct new plc I/O templates?

Yes, the original data file editing tool isn't in
the current shipping product. For a temporary work-around, you can refer to
AcadE's on-line help: Chapter 5 - PLC > Parametric Build > PLC Data Files
and the three subsequent sections. Together these describe the structure of the
ASCII text "plc parametric build" data files and how to expand them to
cover new types of modules. In my opinion, the least painful way to
add a new module is to 1)
find an existing
module that is similar to the one you want to add, 2) find its
entry in its plc*.dat file, 3) copy/paste this block of data into the same file
or different file or new file (if new file, add new file reference to plc.dat),
4) edit the copied block of data to carry the new PLC module's part number,
description, voltage, etc. It should then start showing up in the INS PLC
dialog selection.
