Do you see the WD_M block sometimes disappear after building a new symbol
with the "Black box" builder? Try this: before starting the BBB to build a
new symbol, check to see what the "last" entity is in your active drawing.
See if it is the WD_M block or your title block. One way to check this is to
type this at the command prompt:
(entget (entlast)) [Enter]
You will get a bunch of cryptic data displayed in your command window. It
might look something like this:
((-1 . ) (0 . "INSERT") (330 .
7efcbd18>)
(5 . "AF7") (100 . "AcDbEntity") (67 . 0) (410 . "Model") (8 . "0") (100 .
"AcDbBlockReference") (66 . 1) (2 . "HCR1") (10 18.8533 26.8178 0.0) (41 .
1.0)
(42 . 1.0) (43 . 1.0) (50 . 0.0) (70 . 0) (71 . 0) (44 . 0.0) (45 . 0.0)
(210
0.0 0.0 1.0))
If you see a '(0. "INSERT")' at the front end of the data dump, then the
last entity in your drawing is a block insert. The name of the block is in
the '(2 . "")' part of the data dump. In the example above, the last
entity on this sample drawing was a block insert... an "HCR1" relay coil
symbol.
I'm thinking that there is a chance that when the BBB wblocks out your new
symbol it may be including part of the previous last entity in the database
if it happens to be a block insert. If so, this might explain the mysterious
disappearance. If this is true, the workaround for 2005 would be to
temporarily insert a dummy line entity somewhere on the drawing before
starting the BBB so that the "last" entity is the line entity and not a
block insert entity. Then delete the line after you finish with the BBB
operation.

We are still using Ace2005 and I am seeing the WD_M block disappear from a
drawing. I have not really been able to put my actions to the
disappearances.
My title block also disappears when I use black box builder to wblock a
symbol I created inside a drawing. Has anyone else seen this or have any
advice?
Thank You,
Ted
