Making block annotative after creating it.

I created one block and after insering it in dwg, I want to make it annotative.

By making block annotative ,I want to make size of block should be same in model space and paperspace for all dwgs where I used this block.

Is there any setting by using which I can make inserted block annotative in dwg?

Hi Apurva_123,

If you edit the block (or Symbol) in the normal Block editor (on the home tab, look for the Block panel, select the "Edit" Command.)

you can edit the Properties of the block (Ctrl+1 to bring up the Property Pallet).

So,

1. Open a dwg with the block

2. Open the block in the Block Editor (Might make sense to use the symbol builder if you need to re-author it)

3. Start the Properties pallet

4. Scroll down the list look for the block section, you should find "Annotative [NO]"

5. Change "no" to "yes" (I know it really doesn't need to be said...:) )

6. Save the block (or re-author the symbol)

I hope this helps,

James
