Hi Dan

I am on ACE2012  and in it  WDDOT  is the block for a DOT.

To find it I drew two wires which crossed and put at the junction a DOT from the icon Menue.

Double left clock on the DOT and the list comes up and WDDOT block name should be highlighted.

Hope this is what you want and helps.

As in many Elecrtrical programs it is a seriesof concentric circles.  A solid dot has more bytes.

Cheers  jq

Which block do you mean....

The Capacitor (HCA1 or VCA1 or HCA1EL or VCA1EL located under Miscellaneous, Electronics)

The Switch (closest I could get is HDS11Q89 or VDS11Q89 located under Breakers/Disconnects)

The wire Junction (WDDOT as someone has already replied with)

The H or V indicate the orientation of the component. H for Horizontal and V for Vertical.

Go to the Insert component tool and look in the sections I gave for the location. Using this tool will select the correct orientation depending on the wire you insert the block into.

Note that I listed both the plain and the Electrolytic versions of the capacitor.
