It should be in your c:\documents and settings\{you}\my documents\acade
2007\aedata\catalogs folder. You can display where AcadE finds it (if it
does find it) by typing this at command line:
(wd_fio_does_file_exist 1 "wddinrl.xls") [Enter]

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Acade 2007\AeData\Catalogs

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Acade 2007\UserDataCache\My Documents\Acade 2007\AeData\catalogs

This is a very old post.

For AcadE 2022, the 2 paths are

Read/Write

C:\Users\gvl\Documents\Acade 2022\AeData\en-US\Catalogs

Read-Only

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2022\Acade\UserDataCache\My Documents\Acade 2022\AeData\en-US\catalogs

I am assuming that the Read-Only location is a safeguard.

If you want to edit the wddin.xls, use

C:\Users\xxx\Documents\Acade 2022\AeData\en-US\Catalogs    path.

AcadE works great with editing the Read/Write version.

You can try this:

(findfile "wddinrl.xls")

The UserDataCache folder contains the data that is copied into your profile the first time you start AutoCAD Electrical on this computer.
If you create a new user on this computer, log in, and start AcadE, it will copy those files to. for example, the documents folder, so that the new user will get wddinrl.xls.
