Location and Installation Codes

Dear All,

I am new to ACE. I would appreciate if anyone could point out resources (any book or a similar resource) for learning Location Codes and Installation Codes for JIC standards. I know that the Location Codes are used for specifying a physical location of a component. However, I am new to Installation Codes and would like to learn more about the Location Codes as well.

Thank you in advance for the help.

I don't think there is a standard for the location
and installation codes.

It would all depend on your company as to what they
would be.

Some companies might want just a panel
number/component location, Other companies might want a physical location
code/installation type.

It also depends if you are doing a multi panel
board or several discrete panels to interconnect.

Regards Brad
