Link Wire Number to Component Tag

i'm having some problem customizing my ACE2008. Is it possible for me to have the wire number referenced to the component tag? I don't see any option for me to do such thing. Anybody have an idea?

The wire could connect to two devices so how would the wire know which
component to get its tag from? Maybe I'm not understanding your question.
A wire number is a potential number or electrical "node" number, useful for
troubleshooting or tracing a circuit voltage or signal.

If you are seeking to create a label for each end of your wire, which
depicts the exact component tag and terminal the wire connects to, you
should be able to get this by generating a schematic from/to report and
filtering to only the CMP:PIN1 and CMP:PIN2 fields. You click change report
format remove all from the right window then add only the CMP:PIN1 and
CMP:PIN2 fields. Click the Save As button and save your special report as
something like DIN wire markers or IEC wire markers, etc. This is a common
way to mark wires in Europe. I worked for a German company for 12 years and
that is how we marked them. See the attached screen shot example. This
report can exported as Excel, ASCII, etc. and sent to your wire marker
printing software application.

Thanks doug for the quick reply!

You are correct doug. What I meant was the label. Sorry for that. But is it possible if I can have the label put into the drawing itself rather than having it in a report form?

I'm not quite sure I understand what you are trying to do. The component
symbols should contain the tag and terminal/pin number. The wire can
optionally have a wire number but only one wire number per node.

I don't think there's an electrical utility for labels. I just put text next to the component. In the text I use a field (object) to get the correct attribute text. This way if you edit the component the label will also change. I doesn't work if you update or swap the block. I can be a lot of work doing this. A shortcut: If you AutoCAD copy the component with the labels the label will reference the new component. You can also use copy circuit.
If you don't know what a field is let us know.

I have an example to show. It is in the attachment. Hope you know what I mean by the wire label. Is it possible?
