Link symbols--panel, schematic, P&ID, site

In AutoCAD Electrical 2007, what is the most efficient method of linking schematic, panel, P&ID, and site symbols (of the same component, such as a motor) across multiple drawings? Basically I would like for any change in the schematic symbol to update all other symbols. Thanks for your input.
