Ladder defaults

Greetings All,
I'm looking for some help defining new defaults in the "Insert New Ladder" command. Specifically I would like the "1st Reference" default to be 00 rather than 1. Also, I would like the ladder "Length" to default to 18. I have tried to set these values in the wd_mlrh.dwg block but there seems to be something that overwrites this value. I have seen a command "wd_ins_ladder" in the CUI. Is this what is overwriting the values in the MLR? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks - Mike

Hi Mike,

There may be other solutions but one that might be easiest to implement is
this: insert the blank ladder or ladders on to a new drawing. Run the
REVISE LADDER command to set the line reference to start at 00. Set up any
other AcadE configuration settings per your standards, all on this "blank"
drawing. Save this drawing as a ".dwt" template.

Now, whenever you start a new drawing, reference this template. It should
pop in with the ladder preset to 00 and all your other settings in place.

Nate.
