Inserting scaled terminal connectors-problem still not solved

Why the terminal connectors(layout) are not inserted scaled, according to producer datasheets dimensions ? ( Phoenix, weidmueller...), like in the real world.

Pat I think he means the footprints are imperial and if you have an say iec project which is metric then the footprints have to be scaled by 25.4 to get real size metric.

I just work all at the small scale and use the viewport to scale up - it doesn't matter unless you need to dimension things on the layout, then you have to scale up at some point.(easily done in one hit when all components are placed)

I may be wrong however : )
