IEC to JIC

Hi Sirs, I am a newbee to Autocad Electrical and I am using the 2014 version. I think our company preloaded the IEC settings. I just want to know how to load the JIC settings for Schematic Icon Menu file. I tried to load the settings but I cannot find the file for JIC.

Thanks.

John

Goto Control panel > Add remove > Choose autocad electrical 2014 entry.

Click on Chanage / Uninstall option

When AutoCAD Electrical Maintainance module is executed, choose  Add / remove option.

Select the standards which you want to install from options (which might be left out)

Complete the process and you shall have the seleted standards in system.

I highly recommend using the NFPA standard, instead of JIC.  JIC is a very old standard that was replaced by NFPA.  Mathlekar has already shown you how to change or add standards/libraries.  You can choose as many as you wish, but I would recommend NFPA as your standard for the U.S.
