IEC tag for Motor Drives/VFD

To all the IEC gurus out there: what is the class for a servo drive controller or VFD?

Looking through the 81346-2 nothing looks applicable except using one of the A classes.

Is that what many of you have used?

Thanks in advance,

For a Frequency inverter old IEC was "G" but new would be "T" (IEC 61346)

I found this document from Moeller very useful in getting the Tag designators for IEC stuff. Check out page 3 of the document.

Hope it helps

That is funny since a AC-DC power supply is also T.

Thanks for the info
