How to copy symbols from Icon Menu Wizard to drawing?

Dear all,

I am quite new to Autocad 2011 Electrical. When I try to copy a symbol from the Icon Menu Wizard (right click on the symbol -> copy) and then going to the drawing I have no option to paste. When I right click and go on Clipboard the paste option is greyed out.

What am I doing wrong? How to copy a symbol from the Icon Menu Wizard to a drawing?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Selous

The Icon Menu Wizard is there to only add/remove icons from the menu.

To inssert components/symbols from this menu, simply use Icon Menu found in the Insert COmponets tab and select the component/symbol you need and it will go to the drawing ready to insert.
What you were doing was editing the existing icon menu, possibly pasting a copy in that menu.
Hope this helps.
