hiding XREF attributes of components project-wide

Is there a way to hide/make invisible XREF attributes of all components across a project?

Check to see if they are on a unique layer and turn that layer off.

Out of the Box, ACADE uses 2 layers for the XREF attributes.

The first layer is the XREF layer and holds the XREF for the parent blocks.

Second layer is the XREFCHILD layer for child blocks.

Turn these two layers off and all the XREF data will not be displayed in that dwg.

You can also define what layers the XREF data is placed on under Layers in the dwg properties.

Check this setting if the XREF's do not vanish when you turn the XREF layers off.

There is also a command buried in the ribbon somewhere to turn the XREF on/off.
