Help Using PLC Parametric for AB 1796-IF4 with both Voltage and Current Inputs

Hi

I'm using Autocad Electrical 2013.

I want to add a AB 1769-IF4 CompactLogix PLC input card.  It's a 4 channel Analog (current and voltage) input card.  I'm not programming it, but if i recall, the IF4 can be channel set so that Ch1 is Voltage, 2,3 is Current and 4 is Voltage.

When I go to the PLC Parameteric Button i can only put in a Voltage version or a Current version.  Is there a way to Mix/Match w/o having to create a specific instance (out of the 16 total compbinations possible) ?

Thanks

Try to use PLC Database editor to copy the existing 1769-IF4 and create a new mixed module and change the necessary inputs to current and voltage type that you want. Think its faster this way.

so there really is no way other than creating a specific module for your configuration (I,V,II then I,V,V,I...etc)?

Try this site, see if its can help you to generate flexible AB IV type input anot.
