General Acad Electrical Questions....

I'm looking into getting Electrical, but I'm wondering if it's also able to do other standard Acad things....like 3D.

Is it 'full-blown' Autocad with the Electrical module added on?

I still want to be able to open drawings that are done in 3D, run LISP files and everything else that I do with 'vanilla' Autocad now.

Hi,

Yes, AutoCAD Electrical includes all of the AutoCAD functionality that
you're used to.

In fact you can create an extra shortcut on your desktop to launch "Vanilla" Autocad - without the Electrical toolbars.
