Export to XL spreadsheet doesn't allow the active drawing button

Hi all,

I'm running ACADE 2015 on Win 7. I have been doing the tutorials on exporting to EXCEL.

When the export box comes up, the export to "ACTIVE DRAWING" is greyed out and I cannot find a setting that helps.

I have the DWG and associated project files open but my only choice is export to "PROJECT".

Any solutions would be surely appreciated.

TIA

Malt

Check to see if the active drawing is part of the active project. You can have any number of projects open in Project Manager but only one is active. If the drawing isn't part of that active project, that is one reason the Active Drawing option is disabled. The Export to Spreadsheet requires the project database so if the drawing is not part of the project it won't be in the active project database.
