Explain This Please !!

hi i have attaches a zip file with the wiring i have done between components that ends up being completely different on the terminal itself.
If you can't download the file please Email me (Patrick.Lee@fkiswitchgear.com)
As you can see the sequence shows correct matching while the terminal strip shows 3 wires connecting to one side of the terminal when i just want one component to the next ? (Common Problem)

I have a similar problem with the terminal strip and the only workaround Ive had for it is to completely remove the wire sequencing then redo it. When I go back to the tse it shows the wire sequencing correctly. However, after I have inserted the tse and go back into it the wire sequencing gets screwed up again. This is a huge bug and Id like to know if there is a fix for it as I have had so many problems with the tse and this is the biggest one. This mistake with the tse is repeatable over and over and over again in different drawings and different projects. They really need to refine this tool.

Just looked closer at your drawings and noticed something else. It helps if you use an angled wire to show a wire being jumpered from terminal to terminal for some reason. I found if you dont use the angled wire it shows one extra wire coming out of the terminal than it should. I have no idea why this is but it works and also keeps the from/to component information more accurate as well.

Yeah, fixing the problem by locking wire sequences and terminals would be useful (fixing), we can't use angled wire connections in our company as it looks messy and takes too much space on a DC Schematic.
Just really annoying !!

I have brought this to Autodesk's attention as well. Last I heard Pat
Murnen was looking into it. It seems that the TSE is adding an attribute to
the terminal blocks that screws up the wire sequencing. The last response I
had from Autodesk was well before Christmas so I am not sure where they are
with this problem.

Brad,
tse does not force the addition of any attribute to ones already present in
both the schematic and panel symbols.
I am verifying with Nate whether the way tse uses the DWS logic (the
components directly sequenced to a given terminal) is consistent with the
way the schematic tool does.
Thanks,
Mauro

Out of curiosity are you using ACADE on a network or all off a local machine when you are getting these problems ?

I received this lisp file from Nate Holt. It apparently cleans up the
VIA_WD_WSEQ2 attribute which seems to be the cause of the problem. I imagine
you would run the lisp file before or after running the TSE. Hopefully they
will be able to incorporate this into a service pack or hotfix shortly. I
haven't had a chance to try it yet so I'm not to sure how effective it is.

Right thanks for the script we have taken to deleting the "901" xdata completely off the terminals themselves and still to no avial as there seems to be a differnece in wire connections in each terminal strip every time we go into TSE !!
