Error Message - error: malformed string on input

Although ACAD functions (altough with quirks), a message 'error: malformed string on input' is constantly displayed. Also, by default, the Undo command is disabled. When 'Undo' entered and set to 'All', Undo is then enabled as well as restoring the functionality of some other commands. Replies are appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

Most probably your problem is caused by a corrupted LastProj. fil. If you
have not solved your problem, please try this:

1. Close ACADE.
2. Browse to your user folder:

For example for ACE 2007, here is your user folder by default:
C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD
Electrical 2007\R17.0\enu\Support\User

3. Rename or delete the LastProj.fil file under this folder.
4. Restart ACADE

Hope this helps.
