When placing components into separate project drawings, if you assign a previously-used tag, the duplicate tag warning most likely will not display. For insertions of duplicate component tags within the same project drawing, the warning will appear. This issue has been addressed by our software developers and the fix is currently slated to be included with Service Pack 1 for AutoCAD Electrical 2014. That should be posted to our website very soon.
