Hello,
I am using ACADE 2012 and I would like to know how I can change the double click actions.
I tryed changing it with the cui but i get zero results, which means, still when i edit (double click) a component.
tools > workspace > customize > cui > double click actions > new double click actions
here i dragged the edit component command and tryed it like that, did not work
Anyone?
With kind regards,

Think you need to modified the partial Customization Files> ACAD > Double Click Actions>Attribute Block,
Drag and move the AE command "Edit Component" to replace the "Edit Attribute.." command.
I believe there should be another method but I using ACE2013.
Thanks.
Thanks for the reply,
This is a possible solution for getting the job done but the actions to get the result is a bit not convenient.
Its like, click component, double click component, select component...
So its actually faster know to get it from the ribbon... which is the case i am trying to avoid.
Will keep searching, thanks!
With kind regards,

Hi Dk1996,
What about right-clicking on a component and selecting "Edit component"?
That might be easier for you and there is no customization required.
(its built in to do that, they are context sensitive menus)

Hello James,
Thats a fact and indeed usefull too. But what i am trying to accomplish is a method for me and my collegue.
You see, we work with tablets + pen and i am trying to optimize the way we use it.
Getting a double click manipulated is just one of the ways to optimize my workspace.
I dont use 'Enhanced Attribute Editor' for me its a secondary command.
So i want to replace it with something i actually use more frequent.
