delete drawing from project - network or AcadE problem

AcaE 2012
I have 30 drawings in a project and have to delete No 17. Remove it from the project manager, rename it to old in the directory, rename 18 to 30, 1 up in the project manager, title block update with Sequence sheet %S values.
Ready...

No !!!!

The old 17 is there again ? And the original 18 is gone !
Is this a AcadE bug or Network ?
Does someone had/have the same problem ?

Tried it again, the same thing.

Hmmm,

Try removing the page directly from the WDP file.

Open it in notepad (or wordpad) , scroll to the bottom where it lists the drawings then remove drawing 17.

After that try running the update.

Let me know if the works, otherwise your scratch database is stuck (and may need to be purged).

Regards,

James

Did not try editing the WDP file jet. Gonna try that the next time !

This tip worked : otherwise your scratch database is stuck (and may need to be purged)

But after remove drawing, Close Project / Close AcadE / delete all MDB's in the user directory / open project again.

Than Rename Drawing and update Title Block, that works !

Thank you, James

P..s. before editing the WDP file always close that project.
