DEFAULT CATALOG DO NOT UPDATE

Good morning,

I tried to add some manufacturers to the default_cat of autocad lectrical 2013.

i followed the instructions to do it by the windows 7 control panel.

When i get the Autocad screen, the manufacturers are all there. AB and ABB are checked while all others are not. I select a couple of manufacturers to add, then click next to update.

It takes a couple of minutes for Autocad to update. Then it finishes and everything looks normal,

except that the default_cat still has AB and ABB only.

How can i solve this problem ? Please help.

Kind regards.

Hello,

What is your OS? Win7 32 ENG or Win7 64 ENG?

Is it ACE2013 English version or ACE2013 French version?   We have a known issue for ACE2013 French version for add and remove manufacturers, and consider the fix now.

Thanks,

Hello Robin,

My OS is WIN7 64 French Family Premium.

I have ACE2013 French version as well.

Thanks for your reply.

Kind regards.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply, it is a known issue for us.

For now, the only workaround for this issue is to uninstall the ACE2013 French version, then install the product again, and when you go to the configure installation page when install(refer to the attached screenshot), you can select any manufacturers you want, or you can just select all to install in case you will need to add some later.

Just a reminder, if you select All the manufacturers to install, it will take a long time to finish the installation.

Thanks,
