Custom Symbol Component Numbers

Hi,

Some of the symbols I have created in AutoCAD Electrical need to display what number component they are: for example, if I insert a Vacuum Pump, it will need to display that it is Vacuum Pump 1. Then if I add the same Vacuum Pump symbol, it will need to automatically show that it is Vacuum Pump 2.

Is there a way of doing this with Attributes without the use of TAG1 (this is already being used). At the moment I have used DESC2 and the user has to manually enter the number in the 'Insert/Edit Component' menu, but I need it to be automatic.

Here is the symbol to which the question is referring to:

This number needs to change according to how many of the same component are in the drawing, this also needs to be automatic and not manual (as it works now)
